Dr Hassan Syed is an Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics in the department of Education at Sukkur IBA University, Pakistan. He obtained his PhD in Education in 2016 from the University of York, United Kingdom, in 2016. He did his MA in ELT in 2012 from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. His research interests include: the role of L1 in L2 classroom, willingness to communicate in second language; motivational dynamics in L2 classroom.
